GALLERY AT CARROLLWOOD CULTURAL CENTER ACCEPTING ENTRIES FOR “WOMEN” EXHIBIT IN MAY

January 7, 2019 (Tampa, FL) – The Gallery at Carrollwood Cultural Center is accepting entries for an upcoming exhibit titled “Women Who Take Joyful Ownership” in May 2019.

The show will be on display in the main theatre of the Carrollwood Cultural Center, located at 4537 Lowell Road in Tampa. The exhibit is dedicated to women who have changed the world through their inner strength, perseverance, determination, courage, vulnerability, uniqueness and raw love.

The Gallery will accept 2D and 3D works using various forms of media created by living artists, ages 15 and older, throughout Florida. The fee to enter ranges from $20 to $60, based on the number of pieces submitted. Artists may enter up to five pieces. The deadline to apply is Saturday, April 20. Artwork must be delivered to the Gallery by 6 p.m. Monday, April 29.

A gallery opening and awards ceremony is scheduled for Friday, May 10 from 5 until 8 p.m. Awards will be given to first, second and third place, as well as up to three honorable mentions.
